NIPFP Research Recruitment Essential Qualification:
Research Fellow (Economics):
Master’s degree in Economics. Specialization in areas of Public Finance/Public Economics will be preferred.Experience: 1–2 years of relevant research experience, preferably in areas of; Public Finance, Public Economics, Macroeconomics, National Income Accounting, Survey Statistics, Fiscal Policy, Budgeting.
Required: Hands-on experience of working with statistical software such as R/Stata and document preparation software e.g. LaTeX. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is a prerequisite for the position.
Fellow-II (Economics):
PhD in Economics, preferably in areas of Public Finance/Public Economics. Candidates who have submitted their thesis or in the final stages of submission are also eligible to apply. Experience: 2–3 years (pre or post PhD) of relevant research experience, preferably in the areas of Public Finance, Public Economics, Macroeconomics
Publications: At least one published paper in a peer-reviewed journal.
