Appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor of the Central Sanskrit University (CSU), Delhi formerly Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Deemed to be University. The Vice-Chancellor is the Academic as well as Administrative Head and is the Chief Executive Officer of the University. The eligibility conditions and otherwise for consideration to this post is as under given-
The candidates shall be:
i) an eminent scholar in the field of Sanskrit and allied subjects and his/her qualifications shall be as specified in the regulations made under the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956),
ii) preferably not more than 65 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of applications as prescribed in the advertisement.
Salary and Service Conditions:
i) The post carries a pay of Rs. 2,10,000/- (Fixed) per month with Special Allowance of Rs.11,250/- and other usual allowances.
ii) the other terms and conditions of the services will be those as set forth in the Central Sanskrit Universities(CSU) Act, 2020, Statutes of the University and the relevant UGC Regulations as amended from time to time.
Procedure for appointment of Vice-Chancellor:
i) Appointment will be made from a panel of three names recommended by a Search-cum-Selection-Committee constituted in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Statute of the University.

University (CSU) has been uploaded in the website of the Central Sanskrit University, Delhi.
The format of application is available in the website www.sanskrit.nic.in.
The applications in the prescribed proforma should reach within 30 days from the date of the publication of this advertisement in the News paper i.e. upto 7th June, 2020 by Registered/Speed Post to the “Registrar, The Central Sanskrit University, 56-57, Institutional Area, Janakpuri, Delhi-110058”- by super-scribing “Application for the post of Vice Chancellor of the Central Sanskrit University (CSU)”. The candidates are also advised to send soft copy of application in University’s mail id csuvc2020@gmail.com.
The persons who are already in service should apply through proper channel and submit their
applications through their employer along with the NOC/Vigilance Clearance Report given by the Chief Vigilance Officer of their Institutions/Departments.
